Are you an experienced, motivated, and reliable field researcher with a passion for research and data collection? Are you interested in contributing to meaningful research and development projects? BAN-DRCE is inviting qualified individuals to register in our Field Researcher Database for current and future research assignments.
BAN-Development Research Centre for Excellence (BAN-DRCE) is a leading research and development consulting firm dedicated to advancing inclusive, sustainable development through data-driven solutions.
We are building a reliable and diverse network of Field Researchers who can contribute to surveys, research studies, data collection, field assessments, interviews, and other research-related activities across different locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in household surveys, interviews, and other data collection activities
- Collect accurate and reliable quantitative and qualitative data from respondents
- Conduct field interviews and administer research questionnaires
- Follow research protocols, guidelines, and instructions provided by the project team
- Ensure the quality and completeness of collected data
- Use digital data collection tools and platforms where required
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when interacting with respondents
- Participate in field-level training and orientation sessions before data collection
- Identify and report field-level challenges and issues to the supervisor
- Work closely with field supervisors, researchers, and project teams
- Ensure timely completion of assigned fieldwork activities
- Respect research ethics and maintain respondent privacy and confidentiality
- Participate in monitoring and quality assurance activities during fieldwork
- Undertake other field research duties as may be assigned by the project team
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor's degree
- Previous experience in field research, surveys, or data collection is an advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in the required local language(s)
- Basic understanding of research and data collection procedures
- Experience using digital data collection tools such as KoboToolbox, ODK, SurveyCTO, or similar platforms is an advantage
- Ability to work in different field locations and travel when required
- Good teamwork and coordination skills
- Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks within deadlines
- Commitment to research ethics, confidentiality, and data quality
- A responsible, reliable, and team-oriented individual

Registered researchers will be contacted and considered for relevant opportunities based on their qualifications, experience, location, language skills, availability, and specific project requirements.
